I want to know the best way to extract shared folder (not NTFS) permissions from Active Directory.

I have done some investigation and found that the AD schema has a 'volume' objectclass that represents a shared folder. I was planning to search for this object and then extract permissions from its attributes.

Is this feasible?

Are there any other alternatives?

I would appreciate any help regarding this.
